Ronnie – Team Mascot and Therapy Dog
Hello, friends! My name is Ronnie, and I’m the cheerful, fluffy team mascot and therapy dog at Leyland St James' Nursery. I’ve been a part of this wonderful nursery family for several years, and I absolutely love spending my days with the children in the garden, exploring and playing together.
One of my favourite activities is snuggling up in the reading den and listening to the delightful stories the children read to me. It’s such a cosy experience! I do enjoy a bit of downtime too, so you’ll often find me napping in the office on my comfy bed. But it doesn’t take long before the children come knocking on the door, inviting me out for more playtime.
I’m especially good at helping children feel better after any trips or falls because I give the very best cuddles. I always look forward to snuggling up with everyone and making new friends.
An important fact about me – I am a Bichon dog, which means I am hypoallergenic and should not cause any allergic reactions. However, I completely understand if some children prefer not to play with me, and I respect their space.
